I initially heard of Burger & Lobster about 8 months ago. It was on my list of places to dine at on Yelp but for some reason (because it's in the city) I never made it. Since Corey and I became Pescatarians, our pickings of where we can eat has become very slim. So a few Sundays ago, I decided that we needed to venture to Burger & Lobster.
Burger & Lobster is located right above 14th St. by the lower 5th avenue shops. It's on a quiet, well hidden block tucked away closer to 6th avenue. If you blink, you'll miss it! My eye. however is incredible so I spotted it from down the blog.
It's a decent sized restaurant full of elated people. Burger & Lobster has 3 options on the menu; a burger, A whole lobster or a lobster roll. All are $20. They also have a deal where you can get a burger & lobster not sure what that price is.
On to the food. Corey had a lobster roll but I had the whole lobster, grilled with butter sauce. Burger & Lobster gives you fries and a salad so you don't have to choose. The salad was delicious and fresh and had an interesting balsamic dressing which were amazing. The fries were nothing special but if you dip the fries in the garlic butter sauce they give you for the whole lobster, you'll be in for a treat. The lobster roll was good but for the price, I'll stick to the whole grilled lobster.
The drinks are a tad overpriced but of course it's the city. The smoked berry drink was the absolute best and it was super smokey. They also have an exclusive IPA on tap for those beer drinkers. I had a glass of Prosecco to wash down my buttery, garlicky sins. It was crisp and bubbly.
All in all, the food was delicious, the drinks were mad good and we will be having dinner at Burger & Lobster for Corey's birthday.
