I've been on this tirade lately about taking care of yourself (skin included) you can see my previous post on getting perfect skin here, but this post is to assist those of you like myself whose skin changes with the seasons. Any Jamaican man will tell you he doesn't want a woman whose foot back is chalky. In between seasons, it kind of feels like nothing you do can stop the terrible peeling which not only is uncomfy to rub on other things but also an eyesore.
The time in between pedicures is the longest, most agonizing time ever! It seems as if the water they use in the salon is christened and blessed by Christ himself and no home remedy comes remotely close to Eric or Kate scrubbing your rough patches.
My father is the king of home pedicures (Yeah, I know pretty weird right) he is the one who encouraged me to keep my toes done throughout the whole year and keep my upkeep tight.
Lately, soaking my feet and scrubbing with those cute pedicure haven't been enough. So the week after my pedicure I look to the Avon Foot Works Sloughing cream to smooth the dead skin away and keep my feet kissable (just in case). The sloughing cream is low maintenance and you can do it while you're taking a shit (for those of use with time constraints). It's not a soap, it's literally an exfoliating cream which you can wipe away immediately after use.
