Found out which NO turned into a YES when I used it on my stainless steel fridge!
I am 27 years and I am literally just coming into adult hood. As of recently I'm just starting to bathe twice a day(don't judge) and remembering to brush my teeth before I pass out. My grandmother is the queen of clean but she's never had a stainless steel fridge. Us millennials love good looking, sleek shit. We don't always know how to take care of the sleek shit but nonetheless we love it. A quick search on google will warn you about the perils of using a Brillo pad on your stainless steel, I beg to differ. We had stubborn food stains on our refrigerator and very cautiously I decided to give a used Brillo pad a try in an area that no one would notice; the bottom left side of the fridge. After lightly scrubbing left to right, I noticed that it was clean and no damage was left behind. I was ecstatic. This totally boosted my confidence and I went wild! I lightly scrubbed the entire of the fridge left to right and was left with a beautiful clean fridge.
One problem however, it lacked luster -- that beautiful shine. My best friend had given me some coconut oil for me to experiment cooking with so a light bulb popped off in my head. I use everything coconut on my hair and skin for shine so why not the fridge? I did a small section, taking enough coconut oil to fit in my finger and wiped it with a rag -- praying for the best. What I was left with was a beautiful, shiny ass fridge and a new life hack.
Unfortunately I forgot to document the before, but I sent my best friend a picture of the after. Thoughts? What do you use to brighten up your stainless steel stuff?
