I was so reluctant to post an update mainly because I was afraid of jinxing myself. Often I find myself kicking ass at something, bragging about it and then falling off the fucking wagon. I didn't want to get too confident and be victim to my terrible habits.
The first week was the most difficult, my body went through severe caffeine and sugar withdrawal. I knew it was going to happen as I have kicked coffee and soda multiple times in my life. At this point I didn't give a fuck. I was unhappy with my body and if DEATH for a week meant a better body then so be it.
So, after passing out on the train coupled with nausea from the birth control, I was fed the fuck up. Spitting and throwing up every where, I continued totally going off course. I didn't do much exercise but I still wasn't drinking soda or water. I had a slice of dollar pizza and it was the best fucking slice I have ever had. PERIOD.
In week two, my skin was so clear and hydrated, I stopped using every single face product I was using before. I no longer need them. For breakfast, I was eating tons of water based fruit, oatmeal, or eggs for breakfast. For a snack, a banana with yogurt for a snack and for dinner fish or chicken with any type of greens.
Week three came and I am furious. I started cooking separate meals for Cor and Sai. The mac and cheese looks damn good, them ribs are hitting and those jerk wings I made look like love. I decided to alter the initial program for several reasons, one I like food and two the damn nutrition program wasn't paying me. I kicked up my exercise regimen 100%. I do 20 minutes of yoga, a 1 mile run (if my life permits), tons of at home exercises courtesy of @homesquats. I turned cheat day into treat day where I have a slice of cheese cake or a low fat latte from Starbucks (still no soda) and I have discovered mad recipes to make life less fattening.
The pictures below are before and after and so far I'm extremely pleased with my progress. My tights are falling off of me and I have dropped from a XL to a L(had to buy some new joints) and now my focus is my core area! GO time!
Some things that have helped me is that I stopped drinking liquor as often as I was before. I dropped down to 2-3 glasses of wine per week (during Scandal & Empire) I stayed away from my beloved thot juice and when I attempted to have one I could barely finish half and I was so drunk. I had a headache and needed to sleep. It was hilarious. However, I'm looking forward to greater progress next month!
